Did you recently go dairy-free and are bummed at the thought of missing homemade ice cream this summer?! Don’t worry because I’m about to give you a healthier alternative to traditional ice cream, which is usually loaded with sugar and additives. This recipe is great to make before dinner or your cook-out because you can place in the freezer to harden just a bit while everyone enjoys their entrees. Remember, dessert can be enjoyed from time-to-time and in moderation. Reducing the sugar in any dessert recipe, and how often you indulge, make all the difference.

Ingredients
- 3 frozen, ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons cacao nibs
- 2 tablespoons cacao powder
- A few fresh mint leaves
Blend all ingredients on high until smooth. Freeze if you prefer a harder ice cream. Top with several cacao nibs or your favorite chopped nuts!
