Spring is officially here and with it comes the gorgeous blooms and greenery! But, it’s also time for that car-coating pollen and the typical itchy eyes and runny noses. You may get sick of hearing this from me, but it doesn’t have to be this way! Though it’s best to start your spring allergy prevention in the late winter through balancing gut bacteria and boosting your immune system….it’s not too late. Boost your immune system by eating the right foods—like drinking healthy smoothies—and reduce the amount of refined sugar, processed foods and dairy you consume. Try adding in a high-quality probiotic and if you need an extra boost of relief, grab one of my favorite products for spring – DHIST and DHIST Jr. (your kids will love these chewable tablets and my secret’s out—I do too!).
Watch and make this delicious Kale Blueberry Pineapple smoothie to keep your immune system humming so you can enjoy spring and leave allergy symptoms behind!
