It’s prime beach, swimsuit, tank and shorts weather, and I’m hearing from so many of you about cellulite. These are dimply areas of fat that are often determined by genetics, but can be exacerbated by our diet and level of consistent exercise. Being dehydrated, eating a poor diet that is too high in salt and fat can also influence the development of cellulite. For this recipe, I’ve combined pineapple, which contains bromelain—an enzyme that is helpful in improving fat metabolism along with two whole cucumbers that are key for hydration. I’ve also added the juice of a fresh lemon, which is detoxifying and helpful with digestion, and I prefer to use distilled water as it helps with pulling out toxins too.
Enjoy this delicious smoothie that you can easily make to help combat stubborn cellulite! It’s perfect for sipping on outside while in the heat as you stay active! And don’t forget to add-in at least two days of strength-training with weights each week too. For more cellulite boosting tips, be check out this post.
