November is the perfect time to remind us how to live a life of gratitude, and to evaluate our current standing with how we are cultivating gratitude in our lives.
I always tell my patients about the benefits of journaling. But have you tried writing down things you are thankful for? Try jotting down these specifics:
- Write one thing you are thankful for today
- Write something good that you saw someone else do today
- Write something good you did for someone else today
This will help you to look outside of yourself, and be present in the here and now. Stay tuned for my video next week on more ways to cultivate gratitude and be mindful this season.
