
TAI CHI
1. Start with opening
Hands by hips, parted, focusing on breath
2. Play the lute
Forward and vertical palm at forehead height while the backward also vertical palm remains at the inner elbow height of the other arm.
3. Part the Horse’s mane
Forward left step. The left forearm rises horizontally with the palm facing in. The right hand moves down and back, finger tips up, palm forward.
4. White Crane
Forward leg is just in front of the rear foot with the toe on the ground. The rear arm is bent at 90 degrees with the palm facing forward and the opposite arm is down with palm facing backwards.
5. Single Whip
Hand with the lead foot is pushing forward and the other hand is held almost straight out to the side with the fingers gathered in a downward pointing beak.
