I’m Dr. Taz Bhatia, MD, a board-certified physician, passionate about helping people find their health again! My journey into the integrative and functional medicine world began nearly 10 years ago when I was fresh out of medical residency and sick! I bounced from doctor to specialist trying to understand why I was so fatigued, losing my hair in handfuls and getting sick all the time. No one could give me answers, and the drugs I was given only came with devastating side effects. And at the rate I was progressing, I was told I would be bald in my thirties! Desperate for help, I took my conventional medical school training and began researching everything I could get my hands on. I studied nutrition extensively, sat in courses under master herbalists in Northern California, completed the renowned integrative fellowship under Andrew Weil in Arizona and studied to become a certified acupuncturist. I was on a mission: to understand the body at a deeper level—beyond just fighting symptoms—so that I could find lasting healing.
After regaining my health, it propelled me into sharing what I had learned with everyone around me. A practice that I intended to be small, literally grew overnight! For years now, I have been treating women, men and children with a holistic approach—working to go beyond the treatment of symptoms to help find lasting healing. Throughout the journey, I developed my own formulas to help my now more than 12k patients at CentreSpringMD. I’ve seen men and women achieve hormone balance, cease hair loss, find energy again and sleep when nothing else was helping. This is where EastWest was born—out of my own story, and the incredible patients I’ve had the privilege to join on their health journey!
With EastWest you’ll find I have combined the latest advancements in Western medicine with the best kept secrets of Eastern traditional medicine to bring you formulas that really work! Drawing inspiration from conventional medicine, Chinese medicine and Ayurveda, each supplement works to heal your spirit and your physical health.
