Refreshing Juice Blends for Hot Summer Days

It’s time for the weekend, and it’s hot out there! Try refreshing yourself with one of these delicious juice blend recipes instead of soda, sweet tea of sugary alcoholic drinks. So break out your juicer and experiment away. The first is a bit more my speed—not so sweet and a little tangy. The second recipe, ‘Island Green,’ is much sweeter to the palate. Drink these on an empty stomach so that vitamins and minerals in the fresh juice are absorbed more easily into the bloodstream . I love coconut water, so feel free to add it to the juice to increase the serving-size to two. Oh and don’t forget—if the vegetable or fruit is in the dirty-dozen, make sure it’s organic! Enjoy!
