A: Its tough to not gain weight during the holidays. I follow a couple of simple rules which seem to help. No eating after 8 pm prevents excessive calorie intake. Staying active, even if there is limited time for organized exercise will also help. Walking, taking stairs and getting 10 minute bursts of activity throughout day can help. Finally, if you are eating extra calories, avoid drinking them as well. Limit sweetened drinks and alcohol to manage calories better this holiday season.
